Day 3 — Fener & Balat

Explore the historic neighbourhoods of Fener and Balat, including important churches and religious heritage sites connected with Istanbul’s Christian history.

Day 4 — Bosphorus & Travel to İzmir

Visit the Spice Bazaar and enjoy a Bosphorus cruise before travelling from Istanbul to İzmir.

Day 5 — Smyrna & Pergamos

Visit ancient Smyrna in İzmir and continue to Pergamos, including the Acropolis and the Asclepion, an important healing centre of the ancient world.

Day 6 — Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia & Pamukkale

Travel through the sites of Thyatira, Sardis and Philadelphia before continuing to the Pamukkale region.

Day 7 — Laodicea, Ephesus & House of the Virgin Mary

Visit ancient Laodicea, explore Ephesus with its marble streets, Library of Celsus and Great Theatre, and continue to the House of the Virgin Mary.

Day 8 — Departure

Private transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
